Gumarcris is family company with over 50 years dedicated to the handling and decoration of all types of crystals for lamps. Our experience with crystal made us take a decision, more than 10 years ago, to increase our productive capacity and introduce a new range of higher added value products to our catalogue: downlights and spot lights, always related to crystal and lighting.

Gumarcris was one of the first companies to combine metal and crystal to make built-in and downlights and spot lights, a lighting system that was very unusual at the beginning but which has now become a leader. We believe that we have actively contributed to its growth through the design and development of new models year after year.

Nowadays we produce more than 800 models of downlights, the majority having crystal as the aim element. Our products have been widely accepted in the market and can now be found in many different countries. A major part of our production is exported.

In 2006, thanks to our experience and dedication, we were awarded the PIME Prize (award for small and medium sized companies) as the most competitive micro-company in Catalonia. This award is in recognition of our long career and fills us with pride and energy to continue our work in this direction.
